JR Moving services is a proud partner with Project SHARE in Niagara Falls.
We understand that traveling lightly gives you one less headache when moving your home. Food waste is a global problem that has created serious environmental impacts, contributing significantly to climate change. We take one thing off your moving checklist by offering a free of charge purging service for all nonperishable food, bottled drinks, and other donations. We offer convenience by providing a free pick up before or on your moving day. Every quarter of the year, we deliver these goods from our customers to Project SHARE. If you decide to purge these items yourself, just remember that many food banks, homeless shelters, and local nonprofits accept donations of unopened, non-perishable items like canned fruits, vegetables, rice, pasta sauce and grains. Donating when you move is an easy way to spread kindness while giving back to the community. Plus, it benefits the environment too!
We will accept all non-perishable food and household items. Here is an example of items that are accepted.
Canned Goods | Peanut butter | Baby food |
Baby formula | Feminine hygiene products | Diapers |
Soap | Deodorant | Shampoo |
Toothbrushes | Toothpaste | Granola bars |
Cereal | Rice | Flour |
Cooking oil | Laundry soap | Toilet paper |
